: let me down after 32 years service.

Be very specific about what you wish done... If you want to maintain as much originality as possibility state so clearly in no uncertain terms. Omega's Restoration Service generally assumes that the owner wants the watch to look and run as if it was brand new, and will jettison beautifully patina-ed original hands/dials/bezels, etc. and replace them with new current model items (with the Speedmasters for example) unless you explain to them as a collector that originality is important to you. Express what replacement parts you are willing to have installed (New style parts, NOS (New but Old Stock) originals, used parts from other watches of this same or similar model, left with the parts that are on the watch, etc.).

And I'd also leave contact information so that they can contact you in a quick manner should they run into any problems or have questions.

Hope this helps! Good luck with your restoration!
