: I picked up a Seamaster Pro Chrono 2594.50.00
: with 3303 movement.
: Love the watch but it loses something on the
: order of 20-30 seconds per day. I am
: wondering if it needs a service but I do not
: know when it was made. I looked on the Omega
: vintage site but there is no reference to
: this watch.
Yeah, it's too new of a watch to show up on OVI's site...
The America's Cup version (c.3303) was introduced in the late 2001 timeframe and discontinued at some point in 2003 (if my memory serves me correctly) and replaced with a Non-America's Cup dialed version with the less elaborately finished c.3301 movement. Reliability and durability are not the strong suit's of these movement, although nearly everyone raves about the timekeeping accuracy of watches using these movements. So your watch's report of less than stellar timekeeping is unusual. I'd suggest a service and/or regulation would be in order.
: Any help is greatly appreciated.
I hope this is helpful.
