Yes it is helpful, I have read up on the c.3303 and luckily do not have any problems other than the slow timekeeping. What you have told me is good, I figured that the watch was due for a service, which I assume is about every 5 years.
I have read that only Omega should do work on these because of the complicated movement.
What do you think? I am in New Zealand now ( and will be for another year or so ), there is not a lot of choices of who would service the watch.

I am open to hearing options.
