Talking of pushing the date-change mechanism, I dropped my 2537.80 and noticed at 9:30pm the date was half way between 19 & 20. I left the watch until the following day when it still showed the same 19/20, so I undid the crown and moved the date manually and it's been fine since (3-days later).
I haven't noticed how close to midnight it's changing now, though.
