: Omega may have lied to them about the real
: reason for revoking the AD status. Are any
: other AD's offering the 33% discount off
: MSRP?
Before Omega finally gave them their "official" reason for terminating their AD status, my AD and I had both wondered if someone had "used me" to get a referral and then got my AD in trouble with Omega. However, had that been the case, I believe that Omega would have confronted my AD about it. If they didn't want him to discount because they wanted their brand to be more "prestigious", they could have simply told him to stop discounting but allowed him to keep his AD status.
Also, Omega gets the same 55% of MSRP on any watch they sell to an AD, so the discount comes out of the AD's pocket, not Omega's.
