: I just bought a 3573.50 Speedy, aka
: "sapphire sandwich". I noticed
: when timer is running, the large second hand
: has an "occational" erratic motion
: or pulse as it sweeps around the dial. It
: seems to jump about a half second every now
: and then. Is this normal?? Thanks in advance
First off, you should know that I don't have a speedy, but I do believe that this is not normal-it shoyuld be smooth as 'butta'. There was a similar post awhile ago reguarding this same issue.... Perhaps Steve, Chuck, Georges, or any other knowledgeable chrono owner would confirm our suspicions...
