As you were specifically looking for a 1011, it makes sense to undo the deal with the seller. The movement he was selling was clearly a 1011. He has a 100% feedback so ought to be willing and ready to take the watch back.

: Hi,
: I just received a Constellation from an ebay
: auction that was advertised with pictures of
: a cal.1011. The watch arrived today and has
: a cal.1001 movement (less jewels, poor
: winding mech and plastic parts) Is it worth
: pursuing a refund? Is the cal.1001 much
: inferior? I was specifically looking for a
: Connie with the cal.1011. :-(
: Cheers,
: Mat
: Ps. The rotor scrapes on the movement too.
