Thank you so much for your reply. I can hear the clicking noise when I turn the crown clockwise about 10-15 times, but I kept turning it (didn’t know what the noise was for – but now I do, thank you). Regarding the winder, what mode should I set it (at night for approx. 7 hrs), so I don’t overstress the mechanism and to keep it fully wound?

A. 100 seconds clockwise, pause for 300 seconds, then 100 seconds counter clockwise
B. 30 minutes clockwise, pause for 120 minutes, then 30 minutes counter clockwise
C. 1 hour clockwise, pause for 10 seconds, then 1 hour counter clockwise

Also, if I keep it wind up at night, every night for about 7 hours, I shouldn’t even have to manually wind it at all, right? If I choose option C to wind my watch, do you think that will overstress the watch?

Lastly, if this problem persists (stop running that is) even with the watch winder, is my watch defected?
