Just FYI...Omega "upgraded" the Bond Seamaster chronograph to make it look more like the new Bond SMP. The new model is model 2225.80, which has now replaced model 2599.80. The price went from $3000 to $3250. Ironically, the watch is mechanically identical to the outgoing model, as it still contains the same ETA/Valjoux 7750-based 1164 movement. It has NOT been upgraded to co-axial like the new Bond SMP will be. So, the $250 gets you nothing more than cosmetic upgrades. The new model has longer hands, applied dial markers, a new applied Omega symbol and logo, and the word "Seamaster" written in red. All of these upgrades will also be included on the new Bond SMP that is apparently already in the shops in Canada but not here in the US.
