In Response To: Well, I paid $560 for mine, but that was in 2001… *PIC* (Chicagoland Chuck Maddox)

I'm mostly collecting (and restoring) Vintage Heuer's, this will probably my first Omega I'll buy and I'm afraid that from now on I'm also infected by the "Omega-virus". I did some research work concerning these "Speedmasters" and must admit it's quite confusing with all the different models, but very interesting. For Heuer it's quite simple since there is a fantastic archive on OTD...Thanks for answerring.

James Bond: Allergy vaccines? Bacteria. Bacteriological Warfare.

Ernst Stavro Blofeld: With a difference. Our big breakthrough since last summer has been the confection of a certain... Virus Omega.

James Bond: Infertility.

Ernst Stavro Blofeld: TOTAL Infertility! In plants and animals. Not just disease in a few herds, Mr. Bond. Or the loss of a single crop. But the desturction of a whole strain. Forever! Throughout an entire continent.

Actually, there is quite a body of work available on the Omega's as well. Not just on my site, but Steve's and many others. There isn't a unified site like OnTheDash, but there still is a lot of great information to read and digest.

Click on the "Watch Article index" link below, and look at the sites in the upper right hand corner in the Red box.

Good Hunting and feel free to ask questions!
