I just don't know how much weight I can put into

This repeated claim of yours regarding the 1120 and supposed "sudden stops" as honestly Georges it is the first I have ever heard of it...and I have been reading and posting on many watch boards for a long time now.

Also I have seen some of the work Omega does on vintage and everything out of Bienne was ok, and much better than the nothing Rolex does for you...

As far as the luminova on vintage, if you are championing Rolex and you mention this then isn't that a bit of the pot calling the kettle black as they are notorious for this.

Also I would ask where you get your information on Rolex and a vintage service department as I find that highly suspect...they are possibly the most arrogant company out there and I could hardly see them ever doing that...
