: Hi all,
: I've just bought a Seamaster Pro GMT... which
: I'm very, very happy with despite the
: enormous amount of cash it required to
: purchase :-)
: I was wondering though, having seen posts from
: guys fitting other bracelets to their
: watches, whether there is any other kind of
: strap available for the Seamaster GMT?
: I asked the dealer the same question and was
: told there wasn't such an alternative. But
: then, dealers don't know everything, do
: they?
: Any suggestions appreciated.
: Sam
Most, if not all, current Seamaster Dive watches can be fit with a large variety of straps/bracelets. This is largely due to the standard 'horn' lugs that they use. All you need to know is the distance between you lugs (I believe that for full-size SMPs it is 20mm and 18mm for the mid-size).
