Has anyone else been "sucked in" by the Bond hype ?
I HAVE !
I haven't paid to watch a Bond film for many a year now. ( The last one I paid for was the Connery "Come Back" film - Never say never again...).
After that I decided to spend my money on other more worthwhile things/fun.
However I like the idea of the "new" Bond being a bit more rough & ready than the older Bonds.
I like the fact that his boss doesn't actually like him or think he's capable of the job.
I always find heros more interesting & believable ( because Bond is a very life like & believable concept ;-) ) when they are not perfect.
I'll probably go & see the new Bond film. I say probably because, where I live it's not likely to be in a Cinema from day 1, so I'll be able to sea/hear/read a few reviews of the film... that may change my mind.
How about you guys ? are you going ?
