Re: My Timezone hand Calibre 2628
In Response To: My Timezone hand Calibre 2628 ()

: Hi , I have just purchased A Seamaster 2535.80
: GMT. I set the 2nd timezone hand for -7hrs
: now it is at -5hrs, Also I have just been
: watching this last hour and the minute hand
: has completed the full hour , but the 2nd
: timezone hand has not completed an hour.
: Have I syncronised it correctly? Thanks for
: any ideas , Regards Jay

That's really odd. We haven't had any complaints about the 2628 movement so far, but I guess there's always a first.

One thing to note is that the 2535.80 (I'll refer it as the 'Bond' GMT from now on) dial only has half of the 24 hour numbers on the dial, so reading it is a little tricky becuase every hour indice represents 2 GMT hours. OK, if you''re reading it correctly (which you probably have in the first place, but it doesn't hurt to check!) than I'd imagine that you do indeed have a problem with the movement if the red GMT hand isn't moving '30mins' for every '60mins' that the regular hour does.......
