Yep dial is grey but this is a mega tough watch to shoot! PVD is always difficult so you need to give plenty of light, however too much light makes the dial and handset 'jump out' so I had to crush the 'blacks' to get the desired colours. This made the dial seem darker than it is but all of the colours are within 10%.
I reckon 'Paint it Black' as a name, Rolling Stones with a visual combination of Apocolypse Now!
