Seamaster Date Change

Hello all,
This is my first post on this forum but I would like to thank you for all the information you have provided me while I have been browsing over the past few months.

I purchased an 2531.80 Seamaster Automatic 300m today and everything looks great! The only question/concern I have is that on the Chronocentric website it says:

"Quick-set date and rapid date change. The date can be advanced easily from the stem. The date changes shortly after 12:00 midnight, clicking forward in a fraction of a second."

My Seamaster just approached midnight and the date clicked from 30 to 31 at around 11:57. This may sound trival but I just wanted to check out of curiousity and also wanted to make sure this was not a symptom of a bigger problem I need to address.
