Tough call. Automatics typically hold their value much better than quartz watches, since true watch enthusiasts always prefer the auto. On the flipside, your watch is probably soon due for its first servicing, which will cost you in the neighborhood of $300. A 3 month old quartz watch is still under warranty and will be much cheaper to service over the years, so it all depends on how much you like your Bond 2531.80 and how long you plan to keep it. If you really don't want to invest the money into servicing an automatic, now is the time to sell (before you have to cough up the money for a trip to an Omega service center).

It really comes down to which watch you like better and think looks best on your wrist, as well as whether you would prefer to own a quartz watch or an automatic.
