Pins & Tubes are available from Ofrei

As you can see your friend will have to spend at least $15 ( plus postage) & will probably have enough tubes to last him for a lifetime !

I'd see if the AD can supply one first.

Ofrei will also have the zip-lock bags you are looking for. Ofrei Bags etc

But I'm sure you must be able to find these more locally.
