Watch Winder???

I have a Seamaster Pro 300M for three years now and wear it daily. For 12 hours each day, it's on my wrist and the other 12 hours, it's in the winder...replaced by my Suunto Observer. Recently, I've notice that my winder only spins for approximately 8 secs, every 15 minutes(guess the motor is getting old). For the 12 hours it's on my wrist, it's accurate within 1 sec. After putting it in the winder overnight, it's -30 seconds off. I know my winder should be spinning longer for each interval, but since it is getting some activity, shouldn't my watch still be more accurate? I figure a little winding, is better than nothing. Even before I started using the winder, my watch was still only losing -2 second a day sitting on the dresser. I've also made sure it's fully wind manually too. Any suggestions or ideas?
