That will be a nice watch !!

Hi Darrell,

That will be a nice watch when it's restored.

As Pov says it takes a 565 movement. You can find these in eBay.

You don't mention the dial, so I assume you don't have one. I'm sure you'd have mentioned it if you had one. It should be either grey or "YELLOW".

Here's my 166.068 ( yellow dial, in the middle at the back )

Unfortunately I don't have a picture of the "grey" version. Does anyone out there have one ?

You can get yellow dials from "Andy" at www.Timeman.com Or www.Watchco.com.au

The bezel is going to be a bit more difficult to find. I haven't found a source for them.

The hands should have Black edging. A set of Semaster 300 hands will fit ( 565 movement) but they have White edging. Again, I've never seen a source for the Black variant, but you can get & modify hands of the correct style that will fit.

Good luck with your latest "project".

Let me know if you need more detailed pics. I can take some & post them in the New Year ( no time before then, Sorry )

Finally, here's the Omega Catalogue description...

Calibre 565 with date, zoned dial with yellow centre and grey hour circle, outside line minute circle, skeleton tritium hands and hour markers, steel barrel-shaped case with sun-brushed top and polished middle, bi-directional turning bezel graduated in red from 0 to 20 minutes and in black from 20 to 60 minutes, mineral glass, screw-in crown and back. (ST 166.0068)

All the Best

Steve
