Re: A short love story...
: Well, about 6 weeks ago I was on here
: requesting info on any ADs that would give a
: decent price on a high end SMP. My wish was
: granted and a few of you guys dropped some
: names for me. I shortly received my gorgeous
: new watch, a 2594.52 Diver chronograph. Big,
: bold, beautiful. I even bought an extra bond
: bracelet to go with it so I could change the
: looks from time to time. I had no way to
: touchy feely this magnificent timepiece
: before buying, as my local AD doesn't carry
: high end stuff. Well, nature has not endowed
: me with very manly wrists, (6 in), so to me
: this beauty is just overwhelming to wear.
: It's been on the shelf since I bought it,
: just staring at me and me staring back at
: it, neither one willing to make a first
: move. By now it's too late to send it back
: to the AD to exchange for a lesser degree of
: perfection, so here's the big Q: How does
: one who finds himself in this position end
: the affair with minimum pain? Does anyone
: know of a "my loss, your gain"
: venue? Heck, we never even left the house,
: and now it's over. I need to let her go,
: preferably to a good home. Any ideas are
: surely appreciated. Thanks all, Rey.
I do appreciate the advice you folks have given me, but the sheer weight of this titan is something totally unexpected also. So, who are these watch sites with sales corners, and where are the high end dealers of used watches to be found?? Geez, I really am a lost child.... thanks.
