: Note the number on the inner wall of the watch
: back. If this isn't the serial number what
: is it?
It is a case number, which functions much like a model number. It describes that watch and many others made identical to it.
A serial number is unique for every Omega watch ever made.
: Also - the watch shown on the web site has a
: leather strap - I recall my father having a
: steel bracelet.. I want to replce it with a
: bracelet.
Contact the Omega Customer Service center for your area/country. With the case number, they should be able to tell you what bracelet it originally came on. They may still be able to provide a replacement one.
