Bill... I have a Tissot watch model TSx2..The instructions do show Calibre 2045..You are probably right about the release date...I was given this watch by my mates when I left a work Dept...I didnt know about it being associated with Omega:...Just thought I,d let you know that your info was correct ...Hope you get the parts you need...Regards...Adrian..... I have a curly one......I have just purchased a
: Tissot which I think is designated model
: TSX2 although I may be wrong about this and
: first released to the market in 1978. The
: movement is a Tissot 2045. Unfortunately the
: circuit board on the analogue part is cooked
: and I am trying to find a replacement or
: even partial movement to recover parts for
: repair. I know this movement is an ETA
: movement that was also used in an Omega
: although I am not sure which model. BTW, the
: Omega was orientated the other way to the
: Tissot and had a slightly different layout
: for the analogue and digital displays.
: Any assistance you can provide in identifying
: the Omega model/movement or the ETA movement
: would be greatly appreciated as.
: Scan of the Tissot is available by request.
: Regards,
: Bill
