My bond style SMP chronograph is about two and a half years old, and until a while ago its accuracy was probably within plus or minus 1/2 seconds per day.
Its now running slow, and after re-setting it yesterday, it has lost 8 seconds in 24 hours.
I don't think I have dropped or banged it (although I don't keep it wrapped in cotton wool!!!) and I don't work with machinery etc so I don't know how it could have become magnetised.
I believe that it shouldn't need a service just yet, so any ideas on what I should do?
Cheers, Darren
