Calling all Speedmaster 125 owners

Hi Guys,

I recently recieved a copy of the catalogue for the upcoming Omegamania Auction.

There is some amazing stuff in there, if you get chance to get a copy of the Catalogue do so!

There are various items in there that stand out ( & no I don't mean the fake Seamaster 300 ! - Don't laugh, there IS one in there )

There are 2 Spemedmaster 125's listed. One of them says it is marked with the code E400. The text explains that speedmaster 125 are all marked with a letter between A - E & a number between 1 - 400 ( so 5 letters * 400 numbers = 2000 watches ), which seems to suggest that all the watches are marked with a unique & identifying code.

Thus the watch being auctioned is the LAST speedmaster 125.

I have NEVER heard of any markings on the watch. I've never seen any markings. I don't own one.

Can I please ask Speedmaster 125 owners to check their watches for markings & let us know, what they find ( with a photo if possible )

Thanks in Advance

Steve
