Price Increases??? 'Yes'

: It is that time of year when Omega put their
: prices up. Over the last couple of years it
: has been 10%. Anyone know what their plans
: are this year?

Currently, Omega is seemingly trying to climb the ladder and establish itself once again as an equal to Rolex. The company has spent tons of money on marketing its brand recognition (which sadly will probably never reach the acclaimed Rolex status) and now the next step has come..... Prices of its watches...... Instead of increasing prices for 'no-apparnet reason,' Omega has begun to disontinue models and replace them with updated versions (co-ax upgrades, applied markers/logos, ect....) which naturally bump up the prices...... So the short answer to your question is yes, mean Omega prices will increase becuase of the reintroduction of upgraded models..... But I don't think you need to worry about price changes of the 'older' watches. All current models will remain the same prices as they are now.....

Has anyone else heard otherwise?
