I just read that the Valjoux 7750's chronograph function is designed for occasional use actually, because the pinion carrying arm has a jewel-less bearing for the chrono central seconds. So there are wear and tear issues. Or something like that, a layman like me doesn't really understand, but I think I can understand the difference between a jewelled and jewel-less bearing.
This reminds me to wonder many guys likes to keep their Sinn 756 running all the time?
Then I come to think about Lemania 5100, is it the same?
How about the manual wind Lemania movements on the moonwatch? Many guys like to keep it running too.
Thanx in advance for any answers.
