It helps to have the right tools. You need the better bracelet tool to take the bracelet off, since it requires reaching into a small hole. Taking a strap off is much easier, since the end of the pin is much more accessible. You can try removing the bracelet by using a very small jewelery's screwdriver in the hole to push the spring pin down. Just go slow and careful so you don't slip and scratch anything
You can also get a dealer to swap them, probably for free if you buy the strap from them. Just make sure the work is done by someone qualified. Many sales people try doing these simple jobs themselves and end up scratching the watch.
