For the answer to the NUMBER #1 most frequently asked question here--for details or value of a specific older Omega watch you have--go to: Tell Me About My Omega. | Learn more about How To Include Photos and HTML In Your Postings. | To contact someone with a question not relevant to other readers of the forum, please click on their email address and contact them privately. |
: Which watch is better for everyday usage (i.e.
: jumping in a pool, playing in the yard with
: your kids, etc.) as well as dressing-up?
: Omega SM (Bond) or SS Constellation Auto?
Both should be fine for that. The Connie is water-resistant to 30 meters, which should be okay for jumping in the pool.
The Connie is obviously dressier than the Seamaster 'Bond'... but that really depends on how dressy you need to look.
If you do not need to be that dressy daily, I would suggest getting the Seamaster as your everyday watch and buying a vintage Omega as your dress watch.
