It's time for our weekly eBay links... this weeks accronym is
"S"pecial "W"ednesday "E"bay "A"uction "T"reat
The auction I spotted this week was for a 25th Anniversary Speedmaster, issued in 1994.
I've seen these watches auctioned before. It's basically a "normal" Speedmaster Pro, with some extra Engraving/Stamping on the side of the case. 2500 of these watches were made ( In Stainless Steel ) & each was individually numbered.
I liked the fact that this one still had it's barcode sticker on it & the hang tag is still with the watch. It has obviously not been worn much.
However what really interested me was the packaging. I have never seen this before. I've seen this style of box, but not marked on the front as this one is.
I've also never seen the black pouch before.
Another auction picture shows a white patch, I have one of these, they seem to be easy to find.
So we have a rarish watch, complete with original packaging that has hardly been worn in the last 13 years.
A nice catch for someone I think.
What did you see in eBay this week ?
