Hello,
I just got a birthday present (30 yrs) from my wife, a vintage Omega Seamaster. I think it is from sixties or somewhere around that. The watch is kind of gold plated and the bottom and the backsides of the lugs are made of steel, so it is not a gold watch even if it looks like that?
It has a "pie-pan" dial and thin triangle-like baton markers (no date) and sword hands. The text on the champagne-colored little faded dial is uder the Omega logo "Automatic, Chronometre, officially certidied" and on the down there is a text Seamaster. The bottom has texts Seamaster and waterproof (up and down in frames) but NO Seamonster logo??
Where could I get more information (links to pictures etc.)about this watch. I also would like to know is it rare etc.
Thanks and regards
Kristian from Finland
