Why are Tag's 'overpriced mediocrities'. I understand they used modified ETA movements like Omega do and their build quality seems substantial. - Do they have flaws that a casual observer fails to notice. I was speaking to a guy in a watch shop whilst having my secondary watch repaired (he did not know I was a Seamaster owner) and he tried to sell me a Tag F1, claiming that they were better value (in some cases) or at worst the same as Omega when it comes to value especially as a number of their lines rise in price in the second hand market. I have never had a problem with my SMP and would probably buy another Omega rather than consider going to another manufacturer, although a friend of mine says the same about his new Brietling. - I think that since it is new it should be good as since 1999 they have been making chronometers, but Omega have a better history of quality watches. But, what do you think of Omega compared to Brietling?
