Constellation f300 - Is it really worth this much? *LINK*

Hi all,

I recently bought a 1970s Constellation f300, which I am very pleased with.

I've just seen one almost identical on Ebay, but in 18k solid gold:

My question is that watch really worth $3100, because mine in stainless steel only cost me �130. �1400 difference seems like a lot just for a case.
