Look closely at the watch above him. It looks to me like a MK II case with the "Alaska" dial & hands.
Or have my eyes gone already ?
If the book contains that level of info it will be amazing & ground breaking.
My impression of it, when I saw the mock-up in May 2004 was that it was basically the musuem Catalogue entries interspersed with lots of pics & period adverts.
