Year 2000 Seamaster

I have had my new Seamaster Pro for about 2 weeks now. It is one of the new face, new hands, full size models, automatic, with black bezel and black face, stainless and the seamaster bracelet. It is officially a model number 2054.50 on the warranty and box. It looks like Omega is going in a new direction in model numbering. What is Omega's plan with these new ones? It isn't the same number as the watch on the Omega webpage either (but that has the Speedo bracelet). Also, what nickname will this model be called, it's not really a James Bond...Thanks.
