I had the privilege to see Beijing 08 new models..

Pictures were not permitted to be taken.

There were a lot of limited edition golden constellations with precious stones for dial pointers and hands ending in the olympics symbol.

There were 2 radial looking watches which are of complete new designs and calibre unlike anything yet seen.

One watch has 5 subdials arranged akin to the olympic symbol and laid out across from nine to three oclock. it is of 44 mm size, stainless steel face and bracelet, limited to 2008 pieces. It has a date at 6 oclock position , and display the day in its center dial. The other 4 dials are for displaying the ticking second, the chronograph minutes, the chronograph hour and the chronograph day (for at least 5 days).

The second radical looking watch has four dials in addition to two day and date windows. The day window is located just above the center of the watch. The date window is located at the 6 oclock position. This one has hands and casing made of gold and a leather strap. Again limited to 2008.

Prices for these two are in the region US$6600(if I remember them correctly)
