I recently purchased a 007 Seamaster, which has
that same red glob on the caseback. I was told
that this is wax,put on by Omega to show that the watch is sealed at the factory and has not been
tampered with. As for all the literature you get
with a Seamaster, you should have an owners manual
pertinent to the Seamaster itself, a manual rel-
ating to the 1120 series movement in the Seamaster, a chronometer warranty, which shows
that your watch is chronometer-certified, and last
a conventional warranty. If any of this is missing
ask your dealer to set it right.
Incidentally, what sort of Seamaster did you get?
