Scratched Sapphire Crystal

I got my first major scratch on my crystal today.
A nice big gash across the blue bezel and over
the 12 o'clock marker.

Is there anyway of polishing the scratch off
or do I have to replace the crystal(eventually
after I get more scratches).

Also...how much does it cost to replace the crystal?
