Contracts and laws...

Hi Derek, Contracts apply to the makers of the contract and no one else. And, laws are enforced, if at all, against those to whom the law is applicable. I think it ought to be clear by now that this Calif. law does not apply to the business practices of watch manufacturers. There are certainly good reasons for consumers to avoid this "remaindered" merchandise. We should perhaps dwell on those issues instead of making accusations about legality and morality. joe
