Re: Removing Scratches in Speedmaster Pro Crystal

: Can anyone please offer advice about polishing
: out scratches in the crystal of a
: Speedmaster Pro?

if the crystal is plastic , which i think it is, (or acrylic; ie. not glass) I personnally use a copper polishing product marketed under the "Miror" brand name (at least in France),It contains a very fine mineral powder ("tripoli") of the same kind used by professional stone polishers. Put a large dollop of Miror on a swab of newspaper and ... rub! Time: anything from 3 to 15mns, stopping occasionally to check the results (remove sludge with wet tissue!). This removes scathes end scuffmarks from steel, too.
