I totally agree with that; I just want to add that gkass and sapphire crystals are "harder". This means that they scratch less easily, and break more easily (a bit like the difference between a sewing needle (made of hard steel) and a paper clip ( soft iron): try to bend a steel pin or needle and it will break. There are several grades of hardness in mineral (glass / sapphire crystals; the Tissot brochure (distributed in France) explains and compares the hardness of various materials expressed in "Vickers degrees". The more expensive kinds of sapphire crystals do exist with anti-reflection coating (like on spectacles, binoculars and camera lenses).
