: CajunMike. I am one of the lurkers in the
: background...followed this thread with
: interest and had a look at the photos of
: this fake PO. Now I read enough of your
: posts to know that are undoubtedly correct-
: but Q is this- apart from the dodgy serial
: no, what else on this PO alerts you to fake
: status?? I am astounded at how genuine this
: looks- quite scary. As a SMP 2254.50 owner
: and lover (and hence not a PO owner) I
: really think I would have been duped by
: this!
Well, thanks for the kind words, but I am just passing on knowledge I have gained in my years of participation on this and other forums.
Now, to the watch. I really had to do a double take on this one. Its pretty good, but the fake serial # was the first problem. Second, the dot in the triangle on the bezel is not in the correct position. It should be dead center. This is a common problem with fakes. Oh, and the crappy photos are a usually an indication of a problem. It really ticks me off that people actually intend to rip people off. Selling a fake is one thing, selling a fake as the real deal is outright theft and I hope this guy gets whats coming to him.
Thanks for participating, and I much enjoy my 2254.50 as well.
