I bought the quartz for the same reason as Neil..>

Derek is also right about the autoquartz, you get the feel of the rotor and quartz accuracy without the battery replacement. If I were to invest that much money in an auto, I would at least like a see-thru back. Don't forget we are just bring up points to help you decide not deciding for you.
