Just to let you know in case any other Omegan fans ask you, I have just had the polished bezel replaced by the blue version on my SMP Chrono which cost a respectable £60 ($100) and they send me the polished bezel back neatly wrapped should I decide to change them back again which they will do for free. Apparently this is an easy job using a special tool and it only takes a few minutes. It is amazing how much 'bluer' the dial looks with the blue watch and how much bigger it makes it look.
Just thought I would let you know as I have read other posts on this subject where people were advised it was not possible.
