I was going to ask how you and the rest of the board would respond to just such a model. A Bond style SMP with the autoquartz innards. As wearing it causes it to re-charge, they should be able to set it up for a true, auto-like sweep second hand. I read (here?) that a regular quartz could be set up in that manner, at the cost of greatly reduced battery life.
Anyhow, I'd put down a deposit ASAP if they introduced such a model. What do feel are the odds of e-mail pressure, er-uh-SUGGESTIONs, bringing that about???
