Just some positive venting

Having owned my Omega Seamaster 2531.80 for some time now, I just had to express my satisfaction with this watch. When I purchased it, quite honestly I thought it would be in the lineup behind a Rolex, Breitling, Oris, and Tag Heuer. From the getgo the Omega has gone to the head of the line. It's looks, comfort and timekeeping ability ( +2 seconds per day ) have made it my favorite. In the past I've tried to rotate my watches day to day, but that exercise seems to be over. This is my first Omega but I can't believe it will be my last. Anybody contemplating buying this model or any Omega in my opinion can't go wrong. It was suggested by some knowledgeable people on this forum that I compare the Omega clasp with that of the Rolex. I'm sorry I did that. The Rolex, which I thought was the standard of excellence, looks somewhat cheap by comparision. Don't get me wrong, the Rolex is here to stay, I've had it too many years with good memories connected to it, but this Omega sure is one fine timepiece. Thanks for the opportunity to vent. Tom
