I am about to purchase a seamaster 300M chronometer.
I am split between two options...
1) Titanium 300M Chronometer
2) SS 300M Chronometer retro fitted with a SS bezel versus the stock black bezel
As you can see, I like the look of the metal bezel. I think it is a little dressier and not so sporty, i.e. I can wear it with a suit, or not.
Does any one know if this proposed retro fit will work?
Also, I have heard rumblings that the SS clasp scratches pretty easily. But, I have also read that titanium scratches easily. Is one more resiliant than the other?
I am used to a SS watch, so the light weight of the titanium isn't appealing in theory (I will have to try one on to really know for sure).
Any feedback would be appreaciated.
