Hy to all of you!
I read this discussion forum for a couple of months. Very nice and fine people arownd here.
I will make a speculation now, well supported by phisics: Many people are concerned about SP water resistance. Let's think about the following problem: a guy been pressured at a deph of 200m in an atmosphere of oxigen and helium and doing his job for some days in that environment. The helium molecules enter the SP and equalize the pressure of 20ATM. The guy need to perform another job at a 400m down the ocean. The SP will perform well because the inside pressure (He) will become equal with the outside one and so on. So in reality the SP is more WR than the rated one, tend to be infinite in an helium environment. From here it result the necessity of a helium escape valve when decompression.
I know this sounds unreal for some people but think that the water resistance rating is the pressure difference between the outside and the inside of the watch. When the helium enter the watch it will equalize the pressures between inside and outside, so the process can be virtualy infinite.
All the best,
