...my Luminova SMP to my titrium Seiko diver, I have observed that when first "powered up" by a light source, the luminova glows brighter. Over the course of the night, the luminova fades gradually, but is quite legible 7 or 8 hours later when I wake up.
By comparison the titrium of the Seiko fades more rapidly after "power up" and is not quite as legible in the morning. I have also noticed that the titrium is more difficult to read in a partially lit room, such as a movie theater. The luminova on the SMP does not have this problem.
As matter of fact, when charged by the sun, my SMP is nearly bright enough to serve as a flashlight!
