A brochure just in from Omega tells me both movements have 18 jewels, 45 hour power reserve, 21.6 frequency, and are based on the Lemania 1873 calibre. It further says both have white rhodium plated traditional chronograph movements with special waves. It describes the 1863 movement as 'deluxe version with additional waves.' Exclusive features of both are Glucydur balance (don't know what that means), 'Etachron' regulator assembly (dunno) with precision adjustment. The balance and regulator features, according to other brochures sent in the package, are also in the calibre 1120 (Constellation) and the 1164 (Seamaster Chrono).
